Still waiting on the Feds

Strange, taxes were filed at the end of March and we're to expect a refund. State has already been direct deposited but we're still waiting on the Feds. I looked it up on the IRS website and it's pending. I thought with all of the things happening with covid and etc it might have been held up but I hear others received theirs as quickly as it has always been. Nothing has really changed for us, same tax preparer, same jobs, same bank account. I sure hope it's not hiding up in a ceiling somewhere.

    I am still waiting for my Fed refund too. My CPA e-filed in early March. I had heard that for some reason people who filed using Turbo Tax received fast refunds. This was the case for my sister and her husband. I use a private CPA and still waiting. Not sure how true that is, but I have heard others say the same thing. I get the same "received, still processing" status on the IRS website.

    I used Turbo Tax - filed in late March - got an extremely fast refund I was shocked! :-)

    we are still waiting for last years let alone this years...good luck the irs over there seems really incompetent to me!!

    I hope it comes soon. I just mailed my payments for my state & federal taxes last week. I’m grateful for the extra month of the extended deadline.

    Hope it comes soon to all who are waiting. We received ours in about the same time we normally would.
